Welcome to the Walkway's Volunteer site!  We are grateful for your help.

Walkway Volunteers must complete General Volunteer training administered by Walkway Over the Hudson and the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. Classes are 2 hours long and held in various locations in Ulster and Dutchess county. To request information about class schedules contact walkway@walkway.org

Volunteers are welcome to sign up for opportunites as often as you'd like.  We are looking for help in many areas such as providing visitor information, selling merchandise, giving historical details (Walkway Ambassador Role), monitoring the bridge (security), and event planning. 

Individuals and groups are welcome, however if your group has 5 or more people, please call the office at (845) 454-9649.

Please note that as a volunteer you are responsible for your own transportation.
